**If you are one of the non-profits listed above and no longer need hours, please call our office and let Holly know so that she may remove you from this list. In addition, if you need volunteer hours at your non-profit, please call the office and let us know so that we may add you. 336-885-3200 or email us at ericskagerlaw@outlook.com **

Please make sure there is a signature and a phone number/email for a contact person for the organization that can verify your hours.

Please be advised: Handwritten letters will not be accepted by the courts. Letters should have hours listed and need to be on company letterhead for the non-profit you volunteered for, while also having the name and contact information for the person whom supervised the volunteer work for the District Attorney to verify. Volunteer work does not have to be done in the same county as the offense.

“Community service” and “volunteer work” are not the same thing and you will have difficulty getting anywhere to give you hours if you call it “community service”. What is needed for your case is “volunteer work” or volunteer hours”.

(Is not the same thing as Community Service.)
